More information about us and our programme

We are a mixed team of scientists, students, technicians, engineers and ship’s crew, all together on the Royal Research Ship Discovery, working in the subtropical North Atlantic. Our mission is to collect data for the NERC Greenhouse Gas programme, RAGNARoCC. During the weeks we spend at sea we will chart our progress and experiences on this blog – follow us to keep up to date with the latest news.

Find out exactly where we are now by visiting MarineTraffic.

Check out the weather forecast for where we are at PassageWeather.com.

Watch a short film about RAGNARoCC and it’s aims, with footage taken on our previous cruise in 2014.
